A quick and comforting beef and broccoli stir-fry that’s ready in just 30 minutes, perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients
1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain
4 cups broccoli florets
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon ginger, minced
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons oyster sauce
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1/2 cup beef broth
1 teaspoon sesame oil
Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
Blanch broccoli in boiling water for 2 minutes; drain and set aside.
In a bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, beef broth, cornstarch, and sesame oil; set sauce aside.
Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add garlic and ginger; sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
Add sliced beef; cook until browned and just cooked through, about 4-5 minutes.
Return broccoli to the skillet; pour sauce over beef and broccoli.
Stir well and cook until sauce thickens, about 2-3 minutes.
Season with salt and pepper to taste; serve hot.
