Description
A quick and flavorful stir fry featuring lean ground turkey, fresh vegetables, and a homemade teriyaki sauce.
Ingredients
1 lb ground turkey
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 red bell pepper, sliced
1 cup broccoli florets
1 medium carrot, thinly sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon ginger, grated
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water
2 green onions, sliced
Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add ground turkey and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
Add garlic and ginger; sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
Add bell pepper, broccoli, and carrot; stir-fry for 4-5 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.
In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, and rice vinegar.
Pour sauce over the turkey and vegetables; stir well.
Add cornstarch slurry and cook for another 2 minutes until sauce thickens.
Remove from heat, garnish with green onions and sesame seeds if desired, and serve.
