Ingredients
4 tilapia fillets (about 6 ounces each), skinless
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon lemon zest
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
Place the tilapia fillets in a single layer in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, fresh lemon juice, lemon zest, and minced garlic. Stir well to combine.
Pour the lemon butter mixture evenly over the tilapia fillets.
Season the fillets with salt and black pepper.
Bake in the preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
Remove from the oven and sprinkle the chopped fresh parsley over the top before serving.
