A delicious and easy-to-make Pepperoni Pizza Bread featuring a soft bread base topped with marinara sauce, melted mozzarella cheese, and spicy pepperoni slices. Perfect as a snack or party appetizer.
Ingredients
1 loaf of Italian bread (about 12 inches), sliced in half horizontally
1 cup marinara sauce
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
30 slices of pepperoni
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Place the Italian bread halves cut side up on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Brush the cut sides of the bread with olive oil evenly.
Spread marinara sauce evenly over the cut sides of the bread.
Sprinkle garlic powder and dried oregano evenly over the marinara sauce.
Evenly distribute the shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce on both bread halves.
Arrange the pepperoni slices evenly over the cheese on both halves.
Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the edges of the bread are golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes.
Slice the pizza bread into serving-sized pieces and serve warm.
