A quick and flavorful stir fry featuring lean ground turkey, fresh vegetables, and a homemade teriyaki sauce that comes together in under 30 minutes.
Ingredients
1 lb ground turkey
2 cups broccoli florets
1 red bell pepper, sliced
1 cup snap peas
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
3 tablespoons soy sauce or tamari
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Sesame seeds and sliced green onions for garnish
Instructions
Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add ground turkey and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon.
Add garlic and ginger; sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
Add broccoli, bell pepper, and snap peas; stir fry for 4-5 minutes until tender-crisp.
In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and sesame oil.
Pour sauce over turkey and vegetables; stir to coat.
Add cornstarch mixture; cook for another 1-2 minutes until sauce thickens.
Remove from heat and garnish with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.
