Description

Twice Baked Potato Casserole is a creamy, cheesy dish that combines the flavors of twice baked potatoes into a comforting casserole, perfect for family gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 4 large russet potatoes
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Wash and pierce the potatoes with a fork, then bake for about 1 hour or until tender.
  3. Let the potatoes cool slightly, then scoop out the insides into a large bowl.
  4. Add sour cream, milk, melted butter, half of the cheddar cheese, green onions, salt, and pepper to the bowl and mix until smooth.
  5. Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish and top with the remaining cheddar cheese.
  6. Bake in the oven for an additional 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  7. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
