Description

Thai Basil Beef Rolls are a delicious and flavorful dish that combines tender beef with aromatic Thai basil, wrapped in rice paper for a fresh and healthy meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup fresh Thai basil leaves
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 8-10 rice paper wrappers
  • Vegetable oil for frying


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the ground beef, Thai basil, soy sauce, fish sauce, garlic, and ginger until well combined.
  2. Soak the rice paper wrappers in warm water until soft, about 10-15 seconds.
  3. Place a small amount of the beef mixture in the center of each wrapper.
  4. Fold the sides of the wrapper over the filling and roll tightly.
  5. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
  6. Fry the rolls until golden brown and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes on each side.
  7. Remove from the pan and drain on paper towels.
  8. Serve hot with dipping sauce of your choice.
