Description

Sweet & Sticky Teriyaki Meatballs are a delicious and flavorful dish that combines tender meatballs with a rich teriyaki sauce, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon water


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, green onions, egg, and garlic. Mix well and form into meatballs.
  3. Place meatballs on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes or until cooked through.
  4. In a saucepan, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, and sesame oil. Bring to a simmer.
  5. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water, then add to the sauce to thicken.
  6. Once meatballs are cooked, toss them in the teriyaki sauce until well coated.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes to the sauce.
  • These meatballs can be served over rice or noodles for a complete meal.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
