Sweet & Sticky Teriyaki Meatballs are a delicious and flavorful dish that combines tender meatballs with a rich teriyaki sauce, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon water
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, green onions, egg, and garlic. Mix well and form into meatballs.
- Place meatballs on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes or until cooked through.
- In a saucepan, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, and sesame oil. Bring to a simmer.
- In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water, then add to the sauce to thicken.
- Once meatballs are cooked, toss them in the teriyaki sauce until well coated.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes to the sauce.
- These meatballs can be served over rice or noodles for a complete meal.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
