Ingredients
- 4 cups of bread cubes
- 1 cup of chicken broth
- 1/2 cup of chopped celery
- 1/2 cup of chopped onion
- 1/4 cup of melted butter
- 1 teaspoon of dried sage
- 1 teaspoon of dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
- 2 large eggs
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the bread cubes, celery, onion, sage, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the chicken broth and melted butter.
- Pour the broth mixture over the bread mixture and stir until well combined.
- Add the eggs and mix until the mixture holds together.
- Form the mixture into balls and place them on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
Notes
- For a vegetarian version, use vegetable broth instead of chicken broth.
