Street-Style Thai Drunken Noodles are a delicious and spicy stir-fried noodle dish that captures the essence of Thai street food with bold flavors and fresh ingredients.
Ingredients
- 8 oz wide rice noodles
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 cup bean sprouts
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon fish sauce
- 1 tablespoon chili paste
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Soak the rice noodles in hot water for about 30 minutes or until softened, then drain.
- In a large pan or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Add the sliced red bell pepper and broccoli florets, stir-frying for about 2-3 minutes.
- Push the vegetables to one side of the pan and pour the beaten eggs into the other side, scrambling until cooked.
- Add the soaked noodles to the pan along with the soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce, and chili paste. Toss everything together until well combined.
- Stir in the bean sprouts and cook for an additional minute.
- Remove from heat and garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
