Description

Street-Style Thai Drunken Noodles are a delicious and spicy stir-fried noodle dish that captures the essence of Thai street food with bold flavors and fresh ingredients.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz wide rice noodles
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 cup bean sprouts
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon chili paste
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish


Instructions

  1. Soak the rice noodles in hot water for about 30 minutes or until softened, then drain.
  2. In a large pan or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  4. Add the sliced red bell pepper and broccoli florets, stir-frying for about 2-3 minutes.
  5. Push the vegetables to one side of the pan and pour the beaten eggs into the other side, scrambling until cooked.
  6. Add the soaked noodles to the pan along with the soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce, and chili paste. Toss everything together until well combined.
  7. Stir in the bean sprouts and cook for an additional minute.
  8. Remove from heat and garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
