Description
A delicious and visually striking cheesecake designed to resemble a spiderweb, perfect for Halloween celebrations.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup chocolate syrup
- 1/4 cup white chocolate, melted
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
- In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until combined, then press into the bottom of a springform pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
- Add vanilla extract and eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in sour cream and flour until just combined.
- Pour the cheesecake mixture over the crust in the springform pan.
- Drizzle chocolate syrup on top and use a toothpick to create a spiderweb design.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until the center is set but slightly jiggly.
- Let cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
- Drizzle melted white chocolate on top for added decoration.
Notes
- For a more intense chocolate flavor, add cocoa powder to the crust.
- Ensure the cream cheese is at room temperature for a smoother batter.
- Use a toothpick to create the spiderweb design just before baking for a cleaner look.
