A delicious and visually striking cheesecake designed to resemble a spiderweb, perfect for Halloween celebrations.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup chocolate syrup
  • 1/4 cup white chocolate, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until combined, then press into the bottom of a springform pan.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  4. Add vanilla extract and eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Stir in sour cream and flour until just combined.
  6. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the crust in the springform pan.
  7. Drizzle chocolate syrup on top and use a toothpick to create a spiderweb design.
  8. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until the center is set but slightly jiggly.
  9. Let cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
  10. Drizzle melted white chocolate on top for added decoration.

Notes

  • For a more intense chocolate flavor, add cocoa powder to the crust.
  • Ensure the cream cheese is at room temperature for a smoother batter.
  • Use a toothpick to create the spiderweb design just before baking for a cleaner look.
