A delicious recipe for Southern Roadhouse Ribs that captures the essence of smoky, tender, and flavorful barbecue.
Ingredients
- 2 racks of baby back ribs
- 1 cup of barbecue sauce
- 2 tablespoons of brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon of paprika
- 1 tablespoon of garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon of onion powder
- 1 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium heat.
- Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs.
- In a bowl, mix together the brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper.
- Rub the spice mixture all over the ribs.
- Place the ribs on the grill and cook for about 2 hours, turning occasionally.
- During the last 30 minutes, brush the barbecue sauce on the ribs.
- Remove the ribs from the grill and let them rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the ribs overnight with the spice rub.
- Adjust the level of cayenne pepper according to your spice preference.
- Serve with coleslaw and cornbread for a complete meal.
