Ingredients

  • 2 racks of baby back ribs
  • 1 cup of barbecue sauce
  • 2 tablespoons of brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of paprika
  • 1 tablespoon of garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon of onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium heat.
  2. Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs.
  3. In a bowl, mix together the brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper.
  4. Rub the spice mixture all over the ribs.
  5. Place the ribs on the grill and cook for about 2 hours, turning occasionally.
  6. During the last 30 minutes, brush the barbecue sauce on the ribs.
  7. Remove the ribs from the grill and let them rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the ribs overnight with the spice rub.
  • Adjust the level of cayenne pepper according to your spice preference.
