Instructions

- Stir in garlic and cook for another minute.
- Add vegetable broth, diced tomatoes, thyme, basil, salt, and pepper.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Add kale or spinach and cooked beans, if using; cook for an additional 5 minutes.
