Smoked Blackberry Punch is a refreshing and unique cocktail that combines the rich flavors of blackberries with a smoky twist, perfect for summer gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh blackberries
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup bourbon
  • 1 cup lemon juice
  • 2 cups soda water
  • Ice
  • Wood chips for smoking


Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine blackberries, sugar, and water. Cook over medium heat until the blackberries break down and the mixture thickens, about 10 minutes.
  2. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve to remove seeds and skins, creating a blackberry syrup.
  3. In a large pitcher, combine the blackberry syrup, bourbon, and lemon juice. Stir well.
  4. Prepare your smoker with wood chips and smoke the mixture for about 10 minutes.
  5. Fill glasses with ice and pour the smoked blackberry mixture over the ice.
  6. Top with soda water and garnish with fresh blackberries.

Notes

  • Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar to the syrup.
  • For a non-alcoholic version, replace bourbon with additional soda water.
