A delicious and easy slow cooker recipe featuring chicken cooked in a sweet and tangy maple Dijon sauce.
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together maple syrup, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, minced garlic, black pepper, and salt.
- Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker and pour the maple Dijon mixture over the top.
- Drizzle olive oil over the chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is cooked through.
- Once cooked, shred the chicken with two forks and stir it back into the sauce before serving.

- Serve with rice or vegetables for a complete meal.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
