Description

A delicious and easy slow cooker recipe featuring chicken cooked in a sweet and tangy maple Dijon sauce.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together maple syrup, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, minced garlic, black pepper, and salt.
  2. Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker and pour the maple Dijon mixture over the top.
  3. Drizzle olive oil over the chicken.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is cooked through.
  5. Once cooked, shred the chicken with two forks and stir it back into the sauce before serving.
