Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup orzo pasta
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
- 1 cup spinach, chopped
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
- In a bowl, mix together the heavy cream, chicken broth, sun-dried tomatoes, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the mixture over the chicken in the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- About 30 minutes before serving, add the orzo and spinach to the slow cooker.
- Once the orzo is cooked, stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
