A creamy and flavorful slow cooker soup made with chicken, cream cheese, and ranch seasoning, perfect for a comforting meal.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
- 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
- Sprinkle the ranch seasoning mix over the chicken.
- Add the chicken broth and cream cheese to the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Once cooked, shred the chicken with two forks and stir in the cheddar cheese, bacon, and green onions.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.
Notes
- For a thicker soup, you can add a cornstarch slurry at the end of cooking.
- This soup can be served with crusty bread or over rice.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
