  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: 1

Description

A pan-seared and oven-glazed salmon fillet served over jasmine rice, with steamed broccoli and creamy avocado, all topped with a honey-soy garlic glaze, sesame seeds, and green onions.

Ingredients

Salmon fillet (6 oz)
Honey (2 tbsp)
Soy sauce (1 tbsp)
Garlic (1 clove, minced)
Cooked jasmine rice (1 cup)
Steamed broccoli florets (1/2 cup)
Sliced avocado (1/4 cup)
Sesame seeds (1 tsp)
Chopped green onions (1 tbsp)

Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic to create the glaze.
Heat a non-stick pan over medium-high heat and place the salmon fillet skin-side down. Sear for 3-4 minutes until the exterior is crispy.
Flip the salmon and brush generously with the honey glaze.
Transfer the pan to the oven and bake for 8-10 minutes until salmon is cooked through and glaze is caramelized.
While salmon cooks, prepare cooked jasmine rice and steam broccoli florets.
To assemble, place cooked jasmine rice in the center of a bowl.
Set the glazed salmon fillet on top of the rice.
Arrange steamed broccoli on one side and fan sliced avocado on the opposite side.
Sprinkle sesame seeds over the salmon and scatter chopped green onions on top.
Serve immediately, enjoying the contrast of textures and vibrant colors.
