A festive and fun cheese ball shaped like a reindeer, perfect for holiday gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 pretzel stick (for the nose)
  • 2 small pretzels (for the antlers)
  • 2 candy eyes


Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese, green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Mix until well combined and smooth.
  3. Shape the mixture into a ball and wrap it in plastic wrap. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to firm up.
  4. Once chilled, roll the cheese ball in chopped pecans to coat the outside.
  5. Transfer the cheese ball to a serving platter.
  6. Decorate with pretzel stick for the nose, pretzels for antlers, and candy eyes.
  7. Serve with crackers or vegetables.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add some diced jalapeños.
  • Can be made a day in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
