Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup purple sticky rice
  • 2 cups water
  • Pinch of salt


Instructions

  1. Rinse the purple sticky rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  2. Soak the rice in water for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  3. Drain the soaked rice and place it in a pot with 2 cups of fresh water and a pinch of salt.
  4. Bring the water to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and cover the pot.
  5. Cook for about 30-40 minutes, or until the rice is tender and the water is absorbed.
  6. Remove from heat and let it sit covered for 10 minutes before serving.
