Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp ginger
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar (for coating)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut hole pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together pumpkin puree, sugar, brown sugar, vegetable oil, and eggs until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and salt.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Fill each donut hole cavity about 2/3 full with the batter.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let cool for a few minutes before removing from the pan.
  8. Roll the warm donut holes in powdered sugar to coat.

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
  • For extra flavor, add chocolate chips or nuts to the batter.
  • These can be frozen for later enjoyment.
