Description

A delightful and festive pumpkin cheese ball that makes for the perfect fall appetizer, combining cream cheese, pumpkin puree, and spices for a delicious treat.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and pumpkin puree until smooth.
  2. Add the shredded cheddar cheese, chopped pecans, green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, pumpkin pie spice, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Shape the mixture into a ball and wrap it in plastic wrap. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to firm up.
  4. Once chilled, remove from the refrigerator and roll the cheese ball in additional chopped pecans if desired.
  5. Serve with crackers or fresh vegetables.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper.
