  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying


Instructions

  1. Cut mozzarella cheese sticks in half if desired.
  2. Set up a breading station with three bowls: one for flour, one for beaten eggs, and one for breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dip each cheese stick first in flour, then in the egg, and finally in the breadcrumb mixture, ensuring they are fully coated.
  4. Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
  5. Fry the mozzarella sticks in batches until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.
  6. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
  7. Serve hot with marinara sauce for dipping.
