A fun and spooky twist on traditional guacamole, perfect for Halloween parties.
Ingredients
- 3 ripe avocados
- 1 lime, juiced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 1/4 cup diced red onion
- 1 jalapeño, seeded and diced (optional)
Instructions
- Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl.
- Add lime juice, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and cumin to the bowl.
- Mash the ingredients together until smooth or to your desired consistency.
- Fold in the diced tomatoes, chopped cilantro, diced red onion, and jalapeño (if using).
- Transfer the guacamole to a serving bowl and create spooky designs using tortilla chips or olives.
- Serve immediately with tortilla chips or fresh vegetables.
Notes
- For a creamier texture, add a little sour cream or Greek yogurt.
- To prevent browning, cover the guacamole with plastic wrap directly on the surface before refrigerating.
- Adjust the spice level by adding more or less jalapeño.
