Description

A fun and spooky twist on traditional guacamole, perfect for Halloween parties.


Ingredients

  • 3 ripe avocados
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1/4 cup diced red onion
  • 1 jalapeño, seeded and diced (optional)


Instructions

  1. Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl.
  2. Add lime juice, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and cumin to the bowl.
  3. Mash the ingredients together until smooth or to your desired consistency.
  4. Fold in the diced tomatoes, chopped cilantro, diced red onion, and jalapeño (if using).
  5. Transfer the guacamole to a serving bowl and create spooky designs using tortilla chips or olives.
  6. Serve immediately with tortilla chips or fresh vegetables.

Notes

  • For a creamier texture, add a little sour cream or Greek yogurt.
  • To prevent browning, cover the guacamole with plastic wrap directly on the surface before refrigerating.
  • Adjust the spice level by adding more or less jalapeño.
