Ingredients

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into rectangles.
- Place a small amount of sausage meat on one end of each rectangle.
- Season the sausage meat with salt, pepper, and any optional herbs or spices.
- Roll the pastry over the sausage meat to form a log and seal the edges.
- Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush the tops with the beaten egg.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
