Description
Mini quiches are bite-sized savory pastries filled with a variety of ingredients, perfect for appetizers or snacks.
Ingredients
- 1 package of pre-made pastry dough
- 6 large eggs
- 1 cup of milk
- 1 cup of shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
- 1 cup of diced vegetables (bell peppers, onions, spinach, etc.)
- 1 cup of cooked meat (bacon, ham, or sausage) – optional
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out the pastry dough and cut it into small circles to fit into a muffin tin.
- Place the pastry circles into the muffin tin, pressing them down gently.
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk, then season with salt and pepper.
- Evenly distribute the diced vegetables and cooked meat (if using) into the pastry cups.
- Pour the egg mixture over the fillings, filling each cup about 3/4 full.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese on top of each quiche.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the egg is set and the tops are golden.
- Allow to cool slightly before removing from the muffin tin.
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
Notes
- Feel free to customize the fillings based on your preferences.
- These mini quiches can be made ahead of time and reheated.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
