Description

Mini quiches are bite-sized savory pastries filled with a variety of ingredients, perfect for appetizers or snacks.


Ingredients

  • 1 package of pre-made pastry dough
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1 cup of shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1 cup of diced vegetables (bell peppers, onions, spinach, etc.)
  • 1 cup of cooked meat (bacon, ham, or sausage) – optional
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the pastry dough and cut it into small circles to fit into a muffin tin.
  3. Place the pastry circles into the muffin tin, pressing them down gently.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk, then season with salt and pepper.
  5. Evenly distribute the diced vegetables and cooked meat (if using) into the pastry cups.
  6. Pour the egg mixture over the fillings, filling each cup about 3/4 full.
  7. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top of each quiche.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the egg is set and the tops are golden.
  9. Allow to cool slightly before removing from the muffin tin.
  10. Serve warm or at room temperature.

  • Feel free to customize the fillings based on your preferences.
  • These mini quiches can be made ahead of time and reheated.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
