Ingredients

  • 4 slices of thick bread
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 apples, peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.
  2. Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, ensuring both sides are coated.
  3. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat and cook the bread slices until golden brown on both sides.
  4. In another pan, sauté the sliced apples until soft, then add chopped pecans and maple syrup, cooking until heated through.
