Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked macaroni
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked macaroni, cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, eggs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Mix until well combined and the mixture holds together.
- Form the mixture into small balls or patties.
- Roll each ball in breadcrumbs until fully coated.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Fry the bites in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add some diced jalapeños to the mixture.
- These bites can be baked instead of fried for a healthier option.
