Description

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a shallow dish, mix the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. In another dish, beat the eggs.
  4. Place the flour in a third dish.
  5. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip in the beaten eggs, and then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  6. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the chicken breasts until golden brown on both sides.
  7. Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through.
  8. In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream until warm, then pour over the baked chicken.
  9. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
