Description
Kitty litter cake is a fun and creative dessert that resembles a litter box, perfect for parties and gatherings.
Ingredients
- 1 box of chocolate cake mix
- 1 box of vanilla cake mix
- 1 package of instant vanilla pudding mix
- 1 package of Oreo cookies
- 1 package of Tootsie Rolls
- Green food coloring
- 1 container of whipped topping
- Milk (for pudding)
Instructions
- Prepare the chocolate and vanilla cake mixes according to package instructions and bake in separate pans.
- Once cooled, crumble the chocolate cake into a large bowl.
- Prepare the instant vanilla pudding according to package instructions and mix with whipped topping.
- Layer the crumbled chocolate cake in a clean litter box.
- Spread the pudding mixture over the cake layer.
- Crush the Oreo cookies and sprinkle them on top to resemble litter.
- Heat the Tootsie Rolls in the microwave for a few seconds until soft, then shape them into ‘poops’ and place them on top of the cake.
- Add a few drops of green food coloring to the remaining whipped topping and mix well, then use it to decorate the cake.
Notes
- Make sure to use a new, clean litter box for serving.
- This cake can be made a day in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
