Description

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1/4 cup tonkatsu sauce
  • Chopped green onions for garnish


Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, then dip in beaten eggs, and finally coat with panko breadcrumbs.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  4. Fry the breaded chicken until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side.
  5. Remove the chicken from the pan and let it drain on paper towels.
  6. Slice the chicken into strips and serve over cooked rice.
  7. Drizzle with tonkatsu sauce and garnish with chopped green onions.
