Ingredients
- 12 fresh jalapeños
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Slice the jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove the seeds.
- In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Fill each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture.
- Roll the filled jalapeños in breadcrumbs until fully coated.
- Place the jalapeño popper bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For extra heat, leave some seeds in the jalapeños.
- These can be made ahead of time and frozen before baking.
- Serve with ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping.
