A delicious and comforting dessert that combines the flavors of pumpkin and pecans in a warm cobbler.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 cup chopped pecans


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the pumpkin puree, milk, sugar, and melted butter.
  3. In another bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the pumpkin mixture, stirring until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chopped pecans.
  6. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish.
  7. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.
