Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • Whole wheat burger buns
  • Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, avocado, mustard


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, paprika, and parsley.
  2. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.
  3. Form the mixture into patties, about 1/2 inch thick.
  4. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium heat.
  5. Cook the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
  6. Serve on whole wheat buns with your choice of toppings.
