Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup pineapple chunks (fresh or canned)
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon minced ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup green onions (for garnish)
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the crock pot.
- In a bowl, mix together the pineapple chunks, soy sauce, brown sugar, ketchup, garlic, ginger, and black pepper.
- Pour the mixture over the chicken in the crock pot.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- Once cooked, shred the chicken with two forks and mix it back into the sauce.
- Serve hot, garnished with green onions.
Notes
- Serve with rice or noodles for a complete meal.
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less brown sugar.
