Ingredients
- 1 box chocolate cake mix
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 can (16 oz) vanilla frosting
- red food coloring

- mini chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with cupcake liners.
- In a large bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, eggs, water, and vegetable oil. Mix until well combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cupcake liners, filling each about 2/3 full.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cool completely.
- Once cooled, use a small knife to cut a small circle in the center of each cupcake to create a ‘bite’ mark.
- Fill the hole with chocolate syrup and add mini chocolate chips to resemble blood and teeth.
- Frost the top of each cupcake with vanilla frosting.
- Drizzle red food coloring over the frosting to create a bloody effect.
