Description

Delicious and spooky Halloween Vampire Bite Cupcakes that are sure to impress your guests with their eerie appearance and delightful taste.


Ingredients

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 can (16 oz) vanilla frosting
  • red food coloring
  • chocolate syrup
  • mini chocolate chips


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with cupcake liners.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, eggs, water, and vegetable oil. Mix until well combined.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared cupcake liners, filling each about 2/3 full.
  4. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cool completely.
  5. Once cooled, use a small knife to cut a small circle in the center of each cupcake to create a ‘bite’ mark.
  6. Fill the hole with chocolate syrup and add mini chocolate chips to resemble blood and teeth.
  7. Frost the top of each cupcake with vanilla frosting.
  8. Drizzle red food coloring over the frosting to create a bloody effect.
