Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup orange liqueur (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the dark chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into a greased baking pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
- While the dessert is baking, heat the heavy cream in a saucepan until just simmering, then remove from heat and stir in the orange liqueur.
- Once the dessert is baked and cooled, drizzle the orange-infused chocolate ganache over the top.
- Let it set before slicing and serving.
Notes
- For a more intense chocolate flavor, use high-quality dark chocolate.
- Adjust the amount of orange liqueur based on personal preference.
