Ingredients
- 1 cup gingerbread cookies, crushed
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 cup chocolate chips, melted
- Sprinkles or crushed nuts for decoration
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the crushed gingerbread cookies and cream cheese until well combined.
- Add the ground ginger, cinnamon, and nutmeg to the mixture and stir until evenly distributed.
- Form the mixture into small balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Chill the truffles in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
- Once chilled, dip each truffle into the melted chocolate and place back on the baking sheet.
- Sprinkle with decorations before the chocolate sets.
