A fun and spooky lasagna recipe perfect for Halloween gatherings.
Ingredients
- 9 lasagna noodles
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup cooked ground beef or sausage (optional)
- 1/2 cup black olives, sliced
- 1/2 cup fresh spinach, chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
- Layer 3 lasagna noodles over the sauce.
- Spread half of the ricotta mixture over the noodles.
- Add half of the ground beef or sausage (if using), followed by a layer of spinach and olives.
- Repeat the layers, finishing with a layer of noodles topped with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a vegetarian version, omit the meat.
- Feel free to add other vegetables like mushrooms or bell peppers.
- Can be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
