Description

French Onion Soup Bites are a delightful appetizer that combines the rich flavors of traditional French onion soup with a convenient bite-sized format, perfect for entertaining guests.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup caramelized onions
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 baguette, sliced
  • 1 cup Gruyère cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, combine caramelized onions, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and thyme. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet and toast in the oven for 5 minutes.
  4. Top each toasted baguette slice with a spoonful of the onion mixture.
  5. Sprinkle Gruyère and Parmesan cheese on top of each bite.
  6. Bake in the oven for an additional 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
