Description

Ingredients

  • Flatbread – 2 pieces
  • Olive oil – 2 tablespoons
  • Tomato sauce – 1/2 cup
  • Shredded mozzarella cheese – 1 cup
  • Fresh basil – a handful
  • Salt and pepper – to taste
  • Optional toppings (pepperoni, vegetables) – as desired


Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium heat.
  2. Brush one side of the flatbread with olive oil.
  3. Place the oiled side down on the grill and cook for 2-3 minutes until grill marks appear.
  4. Flip the flatbread and spread tomato sauce on the grilled side.
  5. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese and add any optional toppings.
  6. Close the grill lid and cook for another 3-5 minutes until the cheese is melted.
  7. Remove from the grill, garnish with fresh basil, and season with salt and pepper.
  8. Slice and serve hot.
