A delicious and easy recipe for slow-cooked carrots glazed with maple syrup, perfect for fall.
Ingredients
- 2 pounds of carrots, peeled and cut into sticks
- 1/4 cup of pure maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place the carrots in the slow cooker.
- In a small bowl, mix together the maple syrup, butter, cinnamon, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the mixture over the carrots and stir to coat.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or until the carrots are tender.
