Ingredients

  • 1 cup cooked lentils
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup tomato sauce


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine cooked lentils, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix until well combined and form into small balls.
  4. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Serve with tomato sauce or your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • For a vegan version, omit the Parmesan cheese or use a vegan alternative.
  • These meatballs can be frozen for later use.
