Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup bell pepper, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 eggs
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, bell pepper, garlic, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, milk, and eggs.
- Mix until well combined and form into a loaf shape.
- Place the meatloaf in a greased casserole dish.
- Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour or until the meatloaf is cooked through.
- Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- Feel free to add your favorite vegetables to the mixture.
- For a spicier version, add diced jalapeños.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
