A quick and delicious recipe for garlic butter steak bites served with creamy sweet potato mash.
Ingredients
- 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized pieces
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 large sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1/4 cup milk (or dairy-free alternative)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large pot, boil sweet potatoes until tender, about 15-20 minutes.
- While the sweet potatoes are cooking, heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Season steak bites with salt and pepper, then add to the skillet and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add minced garlic and butter to the skillet, stirring to coat the steak bites.
- Drain the sweet potatoes and mash them with milk, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Serve steak bites over sweet potato mash, garnished with fresh parsley.
