These Decadent No-Bake Chocolate Peppermint Truffles are a delightful treat that combines rich chocolate with refreshing peppermint, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp peppermint extract
  • 1 cup crushed peppermint candies
  • 1 cup cocoa powder (for rolling)


Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
  2. Gradually add the powdered sugar and mix until well combined.
  3. Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave or double boiler, then let cool slightly.
  4. Add the melted chocolate and peppermint extract to the cream cheese mixture and mix until fully incorporated.
  5. Fold in the crushed peppermint candies.
  6. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  7. Once chilled, scoop out small portions and roll them into balls.
  8. Roll each truffle in cocoa powder to coat.
