A delicious and crispy recipe for oven-fried chicken thighs inspired by Irish flavors.


Ingredients

  • 4 chicken thighs
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Marinate the chicken thighs in buttermilk for at least 1 hour.
  3. In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Remove chicken from buttermilk and coat each thigh in the breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Place the coated chicken thighs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Drizzle olive oil over the chicken thighs.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Let rest for a few minutes before serving.

  • For extra crispiness, broil the chicken for the last 2-3 minutes of cooking.
