  • 500g baby potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons cornflour
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for frying
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon chili sauce
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar
  • Spring onions for garnish


Instructions

  1. Boil the baby potatoes until tender, then let them cool and peel.
  2. Cut the potatoes into halves or quarters.
  3. In a bowl, mix cornflour, all-purpose flour, red chili powder, and salt.
  4. Coat the potato pieces in the flour mixture.
  5. Heat oil in a pan and fry the coated potatoes until golden and crispy.
  6. In a separate bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, chili sauce, and vinegar.
  7. Once the potatoes are fried, toss them in the honey chili sauce.
  8. Garnish with chopped spring onions and serve hot.
