A refreshing and vibrant cocktail made with hibiscus tea and rum, perfect for summer gatherings.
Ingredients
- 2 cups brewed hibiscus tea
- 1 cup white rum
- 1/2 cup fresh lime juice
- 1/4 cup simple syrup
- 1 cup soda water
- Ice
- Fresh lime slices and hibiscus flowers for garnish
Instructions
- Brew hibiscus tea and let it cool.
- In a pitcher, combine the cooled hibiscus tea, white rum, fresh lime juice, and simple syrup.
- Stir well to mix all the ingredients.
- Fill glasses with ice and pour the mixture over the ice.
- Top with soda water and stir gently.
- Garnish with fresh lime slices and hibiscus flowers.
Notes
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less simple syrup.
- For a non-alcoholic version, omit the rum and add more soda water.
- Hibiscus tea can be made in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
