Ingredients
- 6 large eggs
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Black olives (for decoration)
- Red food coloring (optional)
Instructions
- Hard boil the eggs by placing them in a pot of water and bringing it to a boil. Once boiling, cover and remove from heat, letting them sit for 12 minutes.
- Cool the eggs in ice water, then peel them carefully.
- Slice the eggs in half lengthwise and remove the yolks.
- In a bowl, mash the yolks and mix with mayonnaise, mustard, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Fill the egg whites with the yolk mixture.
- For a creepy effect, use black olives to create spider shapes on top of the filled eggs.
- If desired, add a few drops of red food coloring to the filling for a bloody effect.
Notes
- For a vegetarian option, ensure the mayonnaise is egg-free.
- These can be made a day in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
